HP DesignJet 500PS Printer Spares

Large format printer with choice of 24 inch or 42 inch path. Most models are four colour thermal inkjet with 1200x600 dpi giving photographic quality. HP literature suggests the photo and line quality are "ultimate". They are good - but subsequently HP has introduced 6 and ten colour machines that are presumably better?

Cartridges for each ink are 69cc giving a life appropriate for small workgroups. HP boast a "very low cost per copy". An ink-set change takes 1 minute. Printheads are long life

The DesignJet 500 series takes sheet and roll fed media in a wide variety, including heavyweight coated and studio canvas. An automatic cutter trims roll-fed media leaving just 17mm of margin.
