A4 colour laser printer based multifunction printer copiers. The printers use an inline cartridge arrangement so they are just as fast in colour as they are for mono print.

The MF9130 and MF9170 are primarily intended for workgroup use where their sending and document management potential will be useful. The MF8450 is mainly aimed at small office use.
The i-SENSYS MF9130 and MF9170 and MF8450 were all launched in November 2008.
Software Included: not listed on material examined but probably Presto! PageManager, ScanSoft OmniPage SE.
Control:
Fax-copier control panel with a 3.5 inch colour TFT display with Easy-Scroll Wheel. Graphical menu. Remote user interface allows users to check printer status from a browser. Network administrators can configure the machine remotely.

Speed dials, Fax memory, Group dials and Sequential broadcast differ between the MF9170 MF8450. For instance the fax memory on the MF9170 is up to 1000 page where as that on the MF8450 is 200.
