Canon Pixma MX7600

All-In-One printer scanner, copier and fax. The printer is unusual in using Canon's Lucia pigment ink, found on A3 and larger photo printers. The "PgR" "clear-ink" technology pre-coats the paper so that presentation and poto material can be printed on plain paper without show-through, curling and ink bleeding. The printer uses 5 colour pigment based cartridges and one clear coat cartridge. Colour photo reproduction is excellent. PictBridge capability and printing from memory cards are both included. Copy, fax and photo printing functions can be used without a computer.

The MX700, MX850 and MX7600 are comparable in many ways. Ethernet, photo quality print and an LCD display.

The MX850 use 5 separate inks with 1 picolitre drops and a 9600x2400dpi resolution complemented by a 4800dpi scanner. Its the fastest printer. It has duplex and CD/DVD printing.

The MX7600 has many features plus duplex print and a new PgR ink technology boasting high quality and very long print life. However its slower, has larger ink drops and doesn't have CD-DVD printing.
