Epson Stylus Photo R800 (Epson model number C11C550011)
An inkjet printer using 8 cartridges for high quality professional photo reproduction.
Epson UltraChrome Pigment inks are used, colours are cyan, magenta, yellow, red, blue, photo-black, and matte black. There is also a clear gloss-optimizer which minimizes the specular differential that is sometimes visible with pigment inks.

The Epson Stylus Photo R1800 is (was) a wide-carriage A3 version of the same printer. the R1800 has been phased out in favour of the R1900
The R800 printer is well established. It was announced in late 2003 and introduced in 2004.

Auto Photo Enhance workflow, which can distinguish between landscapes and portraits. In the case of a landscape, for example, Auto Photo Enhance automatically adjusts and improves the clarity of features such as vegetation and sky colours.
For serious photographers, the printers RAW Print software provides full support for printing RAW image data generated by many of the major brand digital SLR cameras. This powerful feature enables the Epson STYLUS PHOTO R1800 and R800 to print photographs using the precise data as captured by the camera.

Print times will vary depending on computer configuration, print setting, application, coverage and page complexity.
