HP Color Laserjet CP5225 Printers

HP Color LaserJet Professional CP5220 Printer Series

A3 / US "B" sized colour laser printers. Speed up to 20 pages per minute in both colour and black and white. HP has introduced the word "Professional" in the product name indicating the likely use in engineering, architecture, cartographic and marketing departments.

Versatile paper handling:

- sizes from postcard to poster size
- materials including glossy papers
-weights up to 220gsm

Basic paper capacity is 250 sheets in the main tray and up to 100 dsheets in the multipupose tray. The printer can handle an additional 500 sheet feeder tray.

The basic model connects via a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port.

A fast Ethernet 10/100Base-T network connection is provided on the "n" models.

Auto duplex is provided on the "dn" model.

The design was introduced in October 2009 alongside the CP4525 and CP3525..

The CP5225 looks like a large CP4525 and does use the same in-line one-pass design. All the consumables are similar but naturally bigger to fit the 12 inch paper width.

There are odd differences - a smaller control panel, smaller memory, lack of an EIO slot, fast but not gigabit ethernet and the 600x600dpi resolution instead of 1200x1200dpi

Given that the printer has the 3 standard languages PCL 5. PCL 6 and a PostrScript Level 3 emulation it should work with almost anything
