HP RC1-0136 Delivery Bushing for HP LaserJet P4014 and M601 Printers

HP RC1-0136 is the bushing used to hold the drive cogs for the exit assembly in the LaserJet 4200, 4250, P4014 and enterprise 600 M601 and M604 series .

A bushing is a bearing for a shaft, in this case its flanged and has a locating tab.

Although HP list the part as orderable it probably isn't needed very often - unless they get lost in repair workshops. At the time of writing in July 2013 a couple of distributors list them at a price of about £2.20 but have no stock on hand.

This part might also be known by the Canon number RC1-0136-000 and HP's full code is RC1-0136-000CN. HP Partsurfer lists quite a lot of printers using this part in the LaserJet 4 and onwards. It seems to have been a stalwart of the series.

The bushing has been used in all of HP's big mono printers from the LaserJet 4200 onwards including the LJ-4240, 4250, 4300, 4350, P4014 series, M601, M602, M603, M604, M605 and M606.

Supply Situation

This is one of the few parts that have remained common across HP's big laser printers for years. If you are a service technician, you have almost certainly thrown out more than you have ever needed to replace. We think demand for the part will be very low and this writeup was more for completeness than commerce.

The part is listed by three distributors but they don't hold stock.
