HP Part RC2-2476 is the Envelope Connector Cover for HP Laserjet P4015, P4515,M601 series Printers

The envelope cover is a black plastic moulding with the number "1" embossed which clips into the printer front cover to the right of multipurpose tray 1. It is removed to install the envelope feeder. If the envelope feeder is subsequently removed but the cover has been lost the printer looks rather odd.

The cover has no operational importance, no dangerous parts are exposed.
