Konica Minolta Magicolor 2480M and 2590MF Colour Multifunction Printer

An A4 colour laser printer with a scanner and fax/copier control panel giving a multifunction device that can print, scan copy and fax. The printer is based on a multi-pass carousel colour mechanism, hence the lower speeds for colour printing. In business use colour print speeds are often not critical because black and white material is used far more often.

The 2590MF is based on the 2550/DN colour printer.

Models:

The 2490MF model was introduced in 2006 adding fax, PictBridge and an optional duplexer to the 2480. However the 2480 later added PictBridge (?) so the distinguishing features are Ethernet and hardware Fax.

Software: LinkMagic (Push Scan Utility), Nuance PaperPort SE (converts paper images to digital files), FaxTalk, PageScope Net Care, PageScope Network Setup, PageScope Web Connection.
