Lexmark C762 Printer Family

Colour laser printer giving A4 speeds up to 23 pages per minute using an inline process with a horizontal paper path.

The C762 was introduced in September 2004. It is similar to the C760 introduced at the same time - basically the C762 its just rated for higher throughput and allows more optional input and output paths. The C750, C752, C760 and C762 are all based on the 5060 engine.

Print Quality

The Lexmark C762 printer with 4800 Color Quality mode (the default setting) produces high print quality while using less memory for faster processing. Sharp business graphics and professional looking documents can now be delivered fast when you’re in a hurry. To resolve fine details in your photos and graphics, select the true 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution setting.

Performance

The Lexmark C762 delivers speeds of 25 pages per minute in color and monochrome for complex print jobs. The 500 MHz processor (600 MHz in network models) helps generate the first color page in less than 15 seconds and 13 seconds for black. Our high-speed technology will eliminate bottlenecks and waiting for print jobs at the printer. This fast delivery enables your workgroup to be more efficient which saves you money.

Production Finishing

Production paper handling with maximum input of 3100 sheets with outdoor media and banner printing capability, and maximum output of 3900 sheets with stapling, hole punch, job offset and mailbox capability allows users to professionally finish documents close to their workstation. Upgradeable to a full-featured multifunction printer using the Lexmark X4500 MFP Option.

Ease-of-Use

The Lexmark C762 single-element cartridge packages the toner, developer and photoconductor into one supply for clean-hands installation. The front loading design provides easy access to the cartridges and other supplies through a simple, intuitive user interface. The 15,000* page High Yield Print Cartridges are also offered to reduce the number of user interventions. (* Yield at approximately 5% coverage.)
