OKI C3450N and C3600N Colour Printer

An A4 colour LED printer with inline single-pass toners giving a colour speed of 16 pages per minute.

The C3450N and C3600 are identical print engines but the support electronics differs. The C3450N is a host-based machine whilst the C3600N supports conventional print languages - so it needs a more powerful processor and more memory.

The C3600N also has barcode support (unspecified) and comes with a wider range of software utilities.

Control:

The C3450N just has a couple of lights and buttons, all other control is via the driver. The C3600 has a front-facing LCD display.

Maximum 35,000 pages per month. Printer Duty average 500 - 2,000 pages per month.

The C3600N has a 400MHz processo and 128MB memory expandable to 640MB.

The C3450N is host based, the C3600 has PCL and PostSript.

The C3600N supports PCL 6 (XL3.0) and PCL5c, PostScript 3 (clone). SIDM (IBM-PPR, EPSON-FX). There is also barcode with checksum support. However OKI don't change their OS compatability list
