The Microline 280 Elite is a faster version of the ML280. The other main change is USB as standad. There are more emulations as well, increasing it's potential as a replacement for older printers.
As Standard the OKI280 Elite comes with Centronics parallel and USB interfaces. An RS232 /RS422 / Current loop version is also available as the OKI 280S Elite.
There is also an ML280 Elite DC which takes a 9.6 to 31.2VDC power supply.
The ML 280 is OKI's least expensive dot matrix machine. There isn't a wide carriage version of the ML 280

There is no specific Network print server. The OkiLAN 7120E is used with the ML3320/21, ML3390/91 etc.
Print servers like the Zyxel NPS 520 should work with the ML280 but this would have to be confirmed
