The ML390FB appears in a 9 pin version as the ML320FB - the simpler head gives somewhat faster printing but obviously at the cost of print quality. Resolution is only only 240 x 216 dpi on the ML320FB and 240 x 360 dpi on the ML390FB. Otherwise the two printers are very similar.
The ML320 and ML321 are more conventional dot matrix designs designed for rear and bottom feed.
