OKI Microline 5590 and 5591 24-Pin Dot Matrix Printers

The ML5590 is a narrow carriage dot matrix printer whilst the ML5591 is wide carriage, otherwise they are identical.

The ML5590 is an updated version of the ML590 (that design dates back to 1992 and is still made). The ML5590 is fractionally faster and has USB, making it more compatible with recent PC workstations. There are more fonts as well. OKI have taken advanatge of long experience of the design to raise their figure for Mean Time Between Failure to 20,000 hours.
