Description

This Pickup Roller is located on a half length shaft in the main body of the printer chassis, above the paper cassette. Its purpose is to pickup sheets from the cassette tray.
Do not confuse this roller with the MP pickup roller (which is actually located within the cassette on some printer models).

You may see a “Replace pick roller tray 1”, “Replace pickup roller”, or “replace with new tray pickup roller” error message when this roller gets worn; however replacement may also be necessary if the printer mis-feeds without reporting the error.
