Canon i-Sensys MF4660PL and MF4690PL

Laser printer based black and white all-in-one printer, copier, scanner with built-in network. The MF4690PL also has fax and digital sender capbilities. Speed 21ppm, resolution to 1200x600dpi quality. Double sided printing is standard. There are some unusual features at this price point as well - department ID security and digital sending for instance.

MF4690PL as above with G3 fax and digital sender functions for scaning to network and USB memory devices.

These two printers are similar to the MF4370DN and MF4380DN. For comparison the MF4660PL has more memory than the MF4380 but is slightly slower. The MF4690PL has Canon SEND capabilities only previously available on the high-end iR series multifunction. The MF4690PL with its digital sender abilities can be used as a low cost entry point in a document management system.

Software Included: Software for printer management, scanning and text recognition. Omni Page SE, Presto! Page Manager.

The i-SENSYS MF4660PL and MF4690PL were introduced in January 2007. The MF4380DN and 4370DN were added in 2008.
