Canon Pixma MP640

Inkjet printers are almost always largely plastic, as is the case here. This is very rarely a problem, the inner parts around the carriage that need to be fairly rigid are made of steel. Plastic parts like the tray and door do sometimes lose a boss or locating pin when hit by objets like ledgers falling off a shelf.
