Rather oddly not everything about the bigger printer is better. It has a slower processor and less memory - and a long warm up time. Naturally the A3 path makes it faster handling A4.

Control:

Easy to use, with live status information direct to your screen and on the printer panel. A highly intuitive user interface suits even beginners.
