Produced around 1999 - 2000. HP Paretsurfer says This product (C2688A) is no longer supported by HP as of Apr-30-2005, and service parts may not be available. Some parts may still be available in distribution, or refurbished from surplus printers.

HP PartSurfer says “ no longer supported by HP as of Apr-30-2005, and service parts may not be available ”. If you need spares it is possible there are some left in distribution - ??

Service:

For the most part these printers suffer the same faults as all inkjets - ink dries in the nozzles. This is likely after the printer has not been used for some time and is difficult to shift and possibly uneconomic because of the price of a complete set of inks and heads.

Options and Accessories:

New accessories are unlikely to be available new due to the age of these printers.
