A wide format 6-ink printer that can handle engineering diagrams and large format photography.

The T1120 aims to optimise line quality for design tasks - hence the two blacks and a gray allowing

  • true gray fine lines.

The printer uses 6 inks: 3 color (cyan, magenta and yellow), three-black (matte, photo black and light gray).

The printer has Gigabit Ethernet so it can easily be shared on a network and a USB2.0 connection for direct connection to a PC.

Control:

There is an LCD display with menu buttons. Buttons show the consumable levels and the paper type loaded and steer the user through various options like network settings and print quality. Embedded web server with ink levels and printer status information. The printer has demo prints for black and white photo, colour photo colour design and GIS map built in.

A1 (D-size) line drawings in 35 seconds on plain media (fast economode)

72 D/A1 prints per hour (Economode on), 56 D/A1 per hour on plain media (Economode off)

Color images: 445 ft2/hr (41 m2/hr) on coated media in Fast mode. 30 ft2/hr (2.8 m2/hr) on glossy media in Best mode

Scanner Abilities:

See the T1120 SD-MFP for a (relatively) low cost mulltifunction copier based on this machine and the T1120 HD-MFP for a machine with fuller features and a highly functional integrated touch-screen control panel.

The T1120 can (of course) be used together with other wide-bodied scanners but integration will then be via the PC.
