HP DesignJet T610 and T1100

Fast, large format thermal inkjet based colour printer / plotter. This printer has both speed and accuracy based on printheads with 1056 nozzles per colour - deilvering a wide swath at each pass. The Vivera ink set has three colours (Cyan, Magenta and Yellow) and three black components - a photo black, matte black and a grey. The three black components produce both vivid colour and soft tones, handle metallic tones and give accurate production of a 0.0423 mm minimum line width with minimal mismatch between horizontal and vertical lines. Primarily aimed at technical drawings.

The DesignJet T1100 MFP incorporates a wide scanner, providing a complete, integrated workflow soultion for geographic, architectural and engineering industries.

Designjet T1100 MFP - Q6713A -

The scanner on the T1100 MFP handles colour at 2 inches per second at it's 200/400 dpi turbo setting and has a 40GB hard disk, touch screen display and embedded processor.

The "T" series printers are mainly aimed at technical drawing. Where photographic work is a more typical use the "Z" series with their 8 ink system might be preferred.

The smaller printers can be placed on a desk and  a stand option can be purchased seperately (part Q6663A). The larger 44 inch printers came with a stand.

The T610 was succeeded by the T620 and the T1100 by the T1120.

Control:

240 x 160 graphical display. On network versions HP Web JetAdmin. HP Easy print Care.

A1 page in 35 seconds (roughly 3 times faster than the DesignJet 500 and 800).

2400x1200 dpi. 6 Colours, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow (as usual) together with a Matte Black, A Photo Black and a Gray. 6 picolitre drops for Cyan, Magenta, Photo Black and Gray. 9 pl drops for Yellow and Matte Black.

Paper Handling:

A0++ 44 inch and A1 24 inch models. Supports any size over A4.

Memory:

128MB on the T610, 256MB and 40GB disk on the T1100. There is no expansion option.

Interface:

The T610 has a high speed USB port (compatible with USB.20 specifications) together with an unoccupied EIO slot.

HP-GL/2, RTL, CALS/G4, HP PCL3GUI on the base models. PostScript on the "PS" model.

System Compatability:

Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003 and Vista. apple Mac OS v10.2 and higher. Citrix MetaFrame.
