Control Panels for HP P4014 and M601 Series Printers.

One of the distinctions between professional printers and the cheaper sort is having a control panel. It isn't a very expensive add-on and it often isn't used all that much, users control the printer via the drivers on their computer. However when something goes wrong, or something needs to be set up a control panel is very helpful.

The P4014 and P4015 / P4515 use different control panels

• RM1-5059 is the full featured panel for the P4015 and P4515
• RM1-5060 lacks the numeric keys for entering pin numbers.

Repairs - Supply Situation

It will be necessary to remove the top cover of the printer to get at the clips securing the control panel.

If you need a replacement panel they are available both new and refurbished in the catalog.

In July 2013 these parts are available new and refurbished.

Note that whilst the control panel is the main obvious difference between the P4014 and P4515 just changing it won't make one printer into the other. The panel is essentially just a dumb peripheral
