Small laser printer intended as a personal printer for office or home use. Uses host-based processing so the users computer does the page layout task saving the cost of a complicated processor and memory in the printer.

The LJ1018 is a low-cost version of this engine. The LJ1022 is fuller featured with 19 page per minute speed, 250 sheet tray, optional network models and 8,000 page per month duty cycle.
