HP Laserjet 1150
HP LaserJet 1150 printer (Product number: Q1336A)
A cut-down version of the LaserJet 1300 (Q1334A). The series is as follows:
- LaserJet 1300 - Q1334A - base model with 16MB RAM, PCL5 and PCL6 languages and the ability to take a long-life 13X toner.
- LaserJet 1300n - Q1335A - has a JetDirect 200M LIO Print Server.
- LaserJet 1300x - Q2484A -
- LaserJet 1150 is similar - Q1336A but has 8MB RAM, PCL5 only and takes a different toner.
Various sources give some doubt as to the resolution of these printers. Some sources suggest the LJ1150 is 600dpi whilst the LJ1300 is 1200dpi.
The service manual says: "With 600 x 2 (Fast Res 1200) printing resolution, these printers have exceptional text and graphics print quality. " It then follows this by reiterating that resolution is 1200dpi in one of the tables.
This printer bears a strong resemblance to the LJ1000 and LJ1200 but they take a different cartridge.
Future Graphics do make a wast hopper that will make a less expensive LJ1200 cartridge into an LJ1150 or LJ1300 cartridge.
