HP Photosmart A636 Compact Photo Printer (Q8637A)

A very compact inkjet printer with a big colour screen designed for printing photographs. Portable styling and the option of a lithium-ion battery allowing the printer to work anywhere. The printer uses a thermal inkjet cartridge with 600 colour ink nozzles. Vivera inks give long lasting colours. Instant dry and smear resistant prints on HP Advanced Photo Paper. Capable of borderless prints needing no cutting and trimming. The Photosmart A636 is a full featured device, its near-relative the A535 is cheaper, it has a smaller button-operated screen and less memory.

Control:

There's a single button for power. All controls are available by the large touch screen which has a 12cm (4.8 inch) area with an 8.9cm (3.5) inch LCD colour graphics screen. The screen shows previews for selection and allows photos to be edited - for instance to allow annotations and remove red-eye and change photo brightness. 20 different options for drawing and labelling.
