HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier and DVD-writer

The addition of a DVD-writer and supporting menus gives this machine a dual role as a photo archiving workstation as well as a multifunction printer. Many of HP's "Photosmart" series can edit and print digital photos and scanned material without a PC. The C8180 carries this further, allowing users to store masses of photos on a built in DVD drive. Using "Lightscribe" the machine can etch a label straight onto a DVD. The printer also has an extensive range of memory card slots. Direct photo printing from CD, DVD, memory cards, PictBridge cameras and USB-based mass storage devices. Printing from Bluetooth devices like mobile phones. Archives old photos. Store material from the scanner to DVD. Photo features: HP Adaptive Lighting, HP Auto Red-eye Removal, HP Scratch and Dust Removal. Video action printing from HP Photosmart cameras. The Photosmart C8180 is built around a fast 6 colour inkjet printer with copying capability to 4800 dpi. Vivera dye based inks on premium plus papers give long life images.

Scanner Abilities:

Flatbed scanner with an area of 216x297 (8.5x11.7 inches). Contact Image Scanner (CIS). The scanner has exceptional accuracy. Optical resolution up to 9600dpi, enhanced up to 19200 dpi. Working in 6 colours with 65536 greyscale giving a depth of 96-bits. There is a transparent material adapter built into the lid for 4 slides or 6 negatives.

Copy Abilities:

Up to 50 copies in one operation. Copy scaling from 50 to 400%. Copy resolution black up to 1200x1200, colour up to 4800x1200.
