HP M601 RC1-0213 Compression Spring.

HP RC1-0213 Compression Spring provides pressure for the pickup mechanism in the HP LaserJet M601, M602 and M603 printers. The same spring has been used from the LaserJet 4200 onwards.

A conventional coiled spring - specification in terms of pressure etc not known.

Faults

The main faults that might be blamed on the spring are likely to be failure of pickup in the cassette. However springs are not notoriously failure prone.
