Prices noted are for a new item, one off, without tax. The list is as encountered. We haven't bothered with currency conversion - half of our readers are outside the UK and are more interested in dollar prices.

There are two or three pages with no stock or basket in this list- no helpful blogs on this part. There are a couple of irrelevant pages . All the rest in the list were merely vendors giving no more information than found in the HP brochure.

Environment and Circular Economy

A small part of the cubic jigsaw making up the case of the printer. The part has no known use outside this role and if it has any future use it is recycled plastic.   There isn't much competition to be a beauty in the world of printer design and if there were the P4015/M601 machines might do well, they do manage to look functional and interesting.   Is there a way that the case of a printer could be made smart, contemporary and actually reuseable? Destiny for all these plastic parts is likely to be landfill, fuel for incinerators or recycling - however sending this kind of material back to China is an appalling use of fuel.

Warranty

The trouble with creating templates is that June fills them in!   Honestly what warranty do you expect on a piece of plastic. It either is the part or it isn't.   It could spontaneously degenerate and given the amount of plastic junk in the world we might wish it would - if you buy one and it does do this get a microscope, find out how that happened - and patent it.

Warranty: This is classed as an engineer spare part supplied with a 90 day return to base warranty

Supply Situation

The part is listed as new by four distributors but they don't usually hold stock. It was listed as refurbished by one distributor in August 2013 and non in September. Demand for the part will be very low.

We can provide these parts as refurbished when required. In 2013 we thought the price would be about £6 new and £3 refurbished. If there are any parts available the price should be displayed alongside this writeup.

These are guidelines, our prices change with distribution lists - see the catalogue. Stock numbers indicate there is not much call for the part.
