HP RC2-5768 Right Rear Cover for HP P4014 series Printers.

The HP RC2-5678 is the Right Rear Cover for the HP Laserjet P4014 Printers. This plastic cover is located next to the face-up tray

The P4015 has a mechanically similar panel in black plastic

This version of the cover is in HP grey-white plastic as used by the P4014.

There are no known faults that require replacement of this panel, they are likely to sell only if a printer is cosmetically damaged.

Covers are not really repairable although ABS can be glued with acetone and discolouration can be treated with bleach. New covers are classed as an engineer spare part and is supplied with a 90 day return to base warranty.

Prices noted are for a new item, one off, without tax. The list is as encountered. We haven't bothered with currency conversion - half of our readers are outside the UK and are more interested in dollar prices.

There are one or two pages without basket or price- there are no helpful blogs on this part. There are a couple of irrelevant pages. All the rest in the list were merely vendors giving no more information than found in the HP brochure.

Supply Situation

The part is listed by a couple of distributors but they don't hold stock. We think demand for the part will be very low.

We may be able to provide this part new when required. The price is about £5. Parts are also available "refurbished", they may be available more rapidly but are unlikely to be significantly cheaper due to the logistics of sourcing and supply.
