HP RL1-1667 Envelope Cover for HP P4014 and M601 Series Printers.

HP Part RL1-1667 is the envelope feeder slot cover. It is a blanking plate used on the front of the printer behind the MP tray to cover up the slot an envelope feeder would use if it were fitted.

The envelope feeder cover is used for cosmetic purposes only. It fits the LaserJet P4014, P4015, P4515 and the Enterprise 600 M601, M602 and M603.

RL1-1667 is a Plastic blanking plate.

Clips into the front of the printer when the multipurpose tray is down. Covers the slot where the envelope feeder can be installed.

Other than breakage or loss RL1-1667 has no know faults. It's use is cosmetic. It might have a safety function in keeping prying fingers away from rollers.

Supply Situation

If you buy a P4014 or M601 series printer you get an RL1-1667 as part of the machine and only remove it if you install an envelope feeder. It can optionally be replaced if the envelope feeder is removed. Most people probably keep this sort of thing in a bag of bits the printer came with, together with the quick setup guide - however they do get lost.

The part is listed by a couple of distributors but they don't hold stock. We think demand for the part will be very low.

We can provide these parts if required. The price is about £3.50 which largely reflects the logistics of obtaining one. If you want several the price can be negotiated. The price is a guideline, our prices change with distribution lists - see the catalog. Stock numbers indicate there is not much call for the part.
