Samsung SCX 6545N, 6545NX & 6555 Printer Control Panel

The Samsung SCX-6545N, SCX-6545NX & SCX-6555 are A4 monochrome multifunction digital copiers and printers. One of the features of machines intended as copiers is that they can be used independently of a computer, they have a local control panel.

One of the issues with copier control panels is that they look like something out of Star Trek and are so complicated that most of the features are rarely used. One of the features manufacturers have introduced is a full colour LCD touch panel which can not only present users with buttons that suit the job but can also prompt with help information.

The control panel screen is quite prominent in this printer, its a 7 inch model roughly equivalent to a tablet computer in size and functionality. (It is said to be WVGA - 800 x 480 which is an improvement over the older SCX-6535). Samsung say very ergonomic and easy to use. No manual or training required.
